Condor Soaring Team SA going forward

It's been an interesting 4 years with a number of good times online. After all these years we have made a decision to stop the hosting of flights due to day-job work commitments from both Johannes(my brother) and I. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all our Condor friends out there for all the support and fun that they provided us over the years.

You will notice that as from this week no more Weekly Competition tasks will be available. From now we will have the current Cross Country Club tasks available until end February 2012. Along with this we will still have the 2 Free flights online until end February when all hostings of flights will end. We will keep our website live as all flights hosted during the past years can still be viewed along with their flight plans that can be downloaded for off-line flying.

We wish you all a wonderful 2012 with safe virtual and real life flying.

Cross-Country Club - International

The Team SA thinking around the Cross-Country Club is aimed at providing a platform whereby Condor Pilots can fly long distance flights in a non-competitive format. Although the flights are also scored and ranked according to speed, the idea is more to encourage the completion of a race, rather than the speed at which this is done. Each Flight Plan will be online for 3 months at a time at which point new Flight Plans will become available.

These tasks had also been set with the view of being claimed as Distance Diplomas on Condor-Club.eu.

In case of any disconnections during a flight, all FTR's can be submitted for scoring by using the Upload Flight Track link on our website.
